Mechanical Forex trading is popular ad there are numerous vendors telling you how rich you are going to get with no effort and of course, they don’t deliver what they say they will here’s why…
As a trader for 25 years what always strikes me is the way they offer consistent gains like 100% per month and this of course is not true - Forex markets give you gains and losses but there not consistent, any trader will tell you that. You may win long term but not every month, its fantasy not reality.
The gains are always better than the worlds top fund managers and yet they cost a mere $100 or so.
Of course if they worked, banks and brokers would sack there dealing teams, costing millions per annum in salaries and replace them, with 100 buck robot and surprise, surprise - no bank or brokerage has done this.
You get a lot of hype and a back tested track record or sometimes some claims from the vendor (and the army of affiliates selling the system) that they have made real money but you never get independent verification or an audit.
Most of the mechanical Forex trading systems sold always promote the fact that the person behind the system is an insider, whiz kid etc but are they really or is this just advertising hype?
Take a look at these systems and you will normally see an algorithm that’s obviously not going to work and money management rules that are non existent or based on unsound logic.
It’s a great concept paying 100 dollars for an income for life and no effort but you know that’s not true.
The Forex market is one where 95% of traders lose so you need to learn skills to win and you can learn these skills. You simply need to get the right Forex education and treat the market with respect and if you do, you can soon be making some great gains for your effort.
So forget Forex mechanical trading systems telling you that there is easy money to be made, there isn’t but with the right education and mindset, you can make money in the world’s most exciting and profitable business - global Forex trading.
